Professional Accomplishments

           Stephen J. Annino is a partner in the Washington, D.C. and Falls Church, Virginia law firm of Kasimer & Annino, P.C.  Mr. Annino is a member of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia bars, the Maryland Bar Association, District of Columbia and the Virginia Bar Association.  He is also admitted before various federal trial and appeals courts, as well as the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U. S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Claims Court.

       Mr. Annino has negotiated and litigated civil disputes in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, and has been involved in various construction claims before a number of judicial bodies as well as various boards of contract appeals, the American Arbitration Association and the Department of labor and Industry.  Mr. Annino is General Counsel for the Heavy Construction Contracting Association.  His experience with private contracts extends to many types of construction including highways, condominiums, commercial and residential structures, renovations, construction including highways, condominiums, commercial and residential structures, renovations, and industrial projects.  Mr. Annino has represented owners, community associations, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and architects in affirmative and defensive actions and claims, including numerous mechanic's lien cases.  He also has a wide variety of experience in other civil matters including contract negotiation, document preparation, dispute resolution, corporate and business law.

       Mr. Annino has lectured and presented seminars for the National Business Institute, Inc., Associated Builders and Contractors and the Heavy Construction Contractors Association.
